“Strength doesn’t come from what you can do, it comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t. “
I am a Masters Level, Licensed Social Worker that provides therapeutic services to youth ages 4 to 18. I draw from trauma informed treatment, psychodynamic, interpersonal, multicultural, cognitive and mindfulness-based approaches. Focusing on emotions and feelings (sad, anger, shock, denial, grief), thought processes (negative thinking errors) and behaviors (aggression, avoidance, defiance) to help the client process, gain insight and to develop skills to move towards change.
I have three years of training and experience working with clients diagnosed with PTSD, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Body and Self Esteem issues. I completed my Master’s Degree in Social Work at the Joint Program of Miami University and Wright State University. I am a Licensed Social Worker through the State of Ohio and have been a practicing child mental health therapist for 3 years. Life is a journey and sometimes it can be difficult to walk it alone. It could be your child’s time to find someone to help walk through their journey with them.
