Message from CHOICES

Dear Prospective Foster Parent:

Thank you for your interest in learning more about foster parenting with CHOICES, Inc. Currently, there is a tremendous need for foster parents, as there are more children in need of families than there are homes to care for them. These children are often victims of abuse or neglect and have families who are unable to meet their needs or keep them safe.

Foster parents who can temporarily provide these children with stable nurturing homes are urgently needed. Foster parents must have the ability to be very understanding and compassionate with children. Foster parenting also requires specialized skill, can be challenging and is often demanding. However, if you should decide to become a foster parent you will learn that the rewards of taking a child into your home are astonishing. Many people become foster parents because they want an opportunity to “make a difference” in a child’s life. What they often learn is this experience can also have an incredible effect on their own lives.

If foster parenting sounds like something you would like to explore, please take advantage of the information provided on our website and contact us for additional information. If you decide to pursue this rewarding challenge, please contact our Foster Parent Recruiter, Samantha McFadden, at or by calling (937) 264- 0084 ext. 111. You may also fill out the form under our inquiry section. An informational packet will be mailed to you as soon as possible or you can begin training right away.  Find out when the next training session is by clicking here to view our calendar

Again, thank you for your interest in foster care. We hope to meet you soon!
