Forest E. Witcraft , American Scholar, Teacher and Scout Leader 1894-1967.

Hello! My name is Andrea Dewar Oladi and I am a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio. I graduated with distinction from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, in 2003, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree; a Bachelor of Social Work Degree, as well as a Joint Law and Masters of Social Work Degree. I previously worked as a Social Worker at the Montreal Children’s Hospital and received my Master’s training in the area of Individual, Couple and Family counseling through the Montreal Catholic Counselling and Mediation Centre. I have spent close to sixteen years working with, supporting and advocating for individuals, families and their children. It is who I am and what I do. I am excited and humbled to have that opportunity again, here at CHOICES.

On a personal note: I am a Canadian citizen and have had a culturally varied life thus far, which I have really enjoyed. I speak English, German, French and some Spanish. I am very blessed to be married to a wonderful husband, who makes me laugh every single day. We share four really great kids, ages 20, 18, 11, and 2. It is through watching them that I am aware of how precious life is and how very fortunate we are, no matter what the challenge. Our family also includes 2 rescue dogs and a sixteen year-old tom cat that we are very attached to! I now consider Dayton my home and have come to appreciate the many unique things it has to offer. Life has taught me that change and challenges are inevitable, but that anything can be accomplished with love, determination and a positive outlook. I believe in living passionately and in somehow trying to make a difference. Martin Luther King, Jr., taught that while we maybe can’t all be heroes, we can all do great things. I love that!
